| Optional second battery | Alternatively, for extended recording times, an optional second battery can be fitted. The optional battery pack provides power to the camera and does not draw any power from the main vehicle battery whilst parked. The CELLINK NEO 6 is powered by state-of-the-art LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery technology, developed to withstand extreme temperatures. It charges to capacity in only 40 minutes when hardwired. The NEO 6 battery package option includes all cabling hardware necessary for hardwired installation. | Intelligent Parking Mode Monitoring | The DC692 detects both motion and impact whilst parked and only writes data to the memory card when something happens either when motion or impact are sensed. The triaxial accelerometer measures impact in three directions. By using a combination of motion and impact detection whilst parked means there is less chance of important files being overwritten during long parking sessions and extends the amount of memory that is used on the Micro SD Card. Time Lapse and Buffered Events: In Time Lapse Mode, the camera continuously records at one frame per second whilst parked. This will capture everything that has happened whilst parked and again extends the amount of memory that is used on the Micro SD Card. To utilise the Parking Mode functions, you will need either the Optional Parking Mode Accessory or a Battery Pack to keep the camera active whilst parked. |
| Micro SD Card Storage and Formatting | The DC692 will support Micro SD Cards up to 256GB. When an Emergency Mode Recording is generated as a result of impact detection, it is overwrite protected. On the DC692 20% of the card is allocated for Emergency Mode Recordings. |
| Viewer (PC or MAC) and APP (iOS or Android) | Watch front and rear side of recorded videos, check speed and location, trace route of vehicles on Google Maps on a Windows based PC or MAC. The ROADCAM App for Android, and iOS allows users to play live or recorded DC692 videos via a smartphone or tablet PC via Wi-Fi connection. The Wi-Fi connection also enables you to access and transfer videos easily to your smartphone or tablet device without having to remove the micro-SD card. When you remove the SD Card and plug it into the PC or an Apple Mac you can simply analyse how the accident or incident occurred with the HORSON software player. This software will allow you to review the event, collecting vital information about your speed and location. A built-in Google Map will show you the journey on the road whilst in playback and will allow you to find your exact location. |
